Retreat to the tranquility of nature where the cry of the fish eagle wakes you to an awesome sunrise. Heaven on Vaal has River Apartments that overlook the Vaal River
Please note a minimum booking of two nights is required over weekends and three nights over long weekends
We offer breakfast and other catering on request. Boating facilities are available at a daily rate subject to quotation.

Penthouse Suite: R 900 per day
Our beautifully appointed Penthouse Apartment is built right on top of the world with a view that cannot be equaled anywhere on the river. Kingsize Bed, en-suite bathroom with a spa bath, a kitchen and Balcony. We will pamper you with breakfast on the Pool Deck for R50pp.
Room 1 :R 700 per day
This self catering unit is a two bedroom unit with two single beds in the kitchen area and one double bed in the bedroom the unit has one bathroom, patio and braai area.
Room 2 & 3 :R 700 per day
Two identical one bedroom ,self catering units each with en-suite bathrooms, open plan kitchen and lounge area with two day beds.Theses units can accommodate 4 people in total.
Room 4:R 1400 per day
Two bedroom en-suite unit, open plan kitchen, lounge area with one double fold out bed and one single daybed.
Unit is fully self catering and can sleep 7.
Room 5:R 700 per day
A one bedroom unit with en-suite bathroom, open plan kitchen lounge area with one double fold out day bed.Self catering and can sleep 4.

Heavenly Events Venue at Heaven on Vaal is a beautiful Riverside Facility that is able to cater for up to 200 guests.
The venue has a separate chapel that can accommodate 160 guests and has an indoor staircase that links it to the wedding venue.
Heavenly Events Venue at Heaven on Vaal has magnificent backdrops for your wedding photos both of the river, bush, gardens and beach sand on our island.
A waterfall cascades out of the rocks that form the backdrop to the main table.
The Wedding venue includes draping of the Hall and Chapel windows, fairy lights that shine through the draping in the hall, white table cloths and white serviettes, overlays, white chair covers in the venue, crockery, cutlery and a PA System.

River Activities
Party Cruise: We can arrange a cruise on the river for up to 25 people it can be for 1-2 hours and can include a braai on the river banks. The boat is fitted with a bar, tables, chairs and braai facility. At R60pp this is a most enjoyable way to spend the day.
Small Group Ski Boat Trips: We can take guests out on a ski boat for cruises on the river. If required water sport activities can be organized. Prices available on request
Individual Rides on the Back of a Wet Bike: We dont hire out Wet Bikes due to Insurance Constraints. However our experienced river staff will escort you.
Heaven Golf Tours for Couples or Two Friends sharing can be organised for you.
Fishing on the Vaal River: Fishing from a boat, bank fishing and what has become a big part of Vaal river fishing, fly fishing. Especially yellowfish on fly. The Vaal River is probably the first place people will go to catch yellows. Home (or partly) of the Small- and Largemouth yellowfish.
